2013 – The Iris Millikan Trophy

The Iris Millikan Trophy is an open competition and is awarded to the best Digitally Projected Image of a Creative or Experimental nature (Altered Reality). Creative or "altered reality" covers photographs that display a novel effect because of an unusual combination of objects and/or viewpoint. They are images that have been modified during or after exposure. Our own, Des Berwick, judged on the evening. He awarded four 10's for the compeition and had to choose a winner from those top four images. The Iris Millikan Trophy was awarded to Jan Pudney for her image "Perched" in 2013.

2013 – Annual General Meeting

The AGM was held on 22 Oct 2013 and each of the respective positions on the committee gave their report of the year. A new committee was elected and of particular interest to members will be the in-depth discussions that were held into the spread of images between categories and set/open subjects for next year's monthly competitions. The conclusion drawn is that there will be changes made to the number of image entries allowed and the categories/subjects that must be entered into.

2013 – Interclub Competition with Para Camera Club

Congratulations to Para Districts Camera Club for their victory in this year's Interclub in what was once again a tight contest. The prints section was tied with 200 points from each club, but Para scored 188 to ACC's 181 in the digital section gave them a 7 point win to reclaim the Interclub trophy.
