This year's annual club beach shoot was held at Semaphore on Tuesday 11th Feb.
Shooting commenced from around 7pm and finished up soon after sunset. There were 4 models at the beach shoot for members to shoot; Jessica, Kirsty, Elize and Dotty. Fred Bray lead a beginner's group, teaching them how to use their cameras and how to photograph the models.
Thanks go out to the models who braved the initial heat and all those involved in organising the event. Having been a 42 degree day, it was actually quite pleasant down on the beach for the evening during the shoot. See below for a number of behind the scenes shots courtesy of Graham Taarnby.

There were 307 entries in the Club's Annual Exhibition this year from 16 entrants. Well done to all those who entered and thank you to everyone who contributed their time in organising the Annual Exhibition.
Scores out of 10 were awarded for each image from 3 judges; Lydia Sutton, Peter Maystrenko and John Seidel; giving a combined score out of 30 for each image.

The encouragement award is awarded to a B grade member showing promising improvement in their images. This year Alicja Pliszko was the recipient of this award.
Aggregate awards are also presented at the Annual Exhibition, which are based on the accumulated scores throughout the year's monthly competitions in each of the 3 categories. This year the recipients of the Aggregate Awards were as follows:
We also have five B graders promoted to A grade for next year; Julie Deer, Russell Flower, Kevin Harris, Lance Perryman & Rhonda Puxley. Congratulations!
